DaysofPal – Several world capitals witnessed demonstrations on Saturday condemning Israel’s continued violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and calling for an end to the war of extermination, the entry of humanitarian aid, and accountability for ongoing attacks. A protest in Paris also included slogans supporting the peoples of Sudan and Venezuela.
In the Turkish capital Ankara, the “Ankara Platform for Solidarity with Palestine” organized a protest denouncing Israel’s repeated breaches of the ceasefire in Gaza. Demonstrators gathered in front of the U.S. Embassy, chanting slogans against Israel.
Aziz Oguzhan Karaman, the platform’s spokesperson, said Gaza has been under an Israeli blockade for 20 years and has faced sustained attacks since October 2023. He stated that Israel continues its assaults despite the ceasefire agreement, noting that the occupation has violated the truce 1,520 times. According to Karaman, these violations resulted in the killing of 566 Palestinians and the injury of 1,418 others, while 221 homes were destroyed during the ceasefire period.
Karaman stressed that a ceasefire must not lead to forgetting the genocide being committed in Gaza, urging people of conscience around the world to continue raising their voices against the occupation.
In Tunisia’s capital, dozens took part in a rally titled “A Protest of Anger Against the Continuation of the Aggression.” The event was organized by activists from several associations, including the Tunisian Coalition for Supporting Palestinian Rights, the Joint Action Coordination for Palestine, and the Tunisian Network Against Normalization.
Murad Al-Yaacoubi, head of the Ansar Palestine Association, said the protest responded to a call by Hamas urging free people across the Arab and Islamic worlds, and globally, to make Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays days of continuous demonstrations to remind the world of Gaza’s suffering.
He said the siege on Gaza remains in place and the genocide continues, stressing the need for Tunisians to sustain their support for Gaza through protests, humanitarian and financial aid, and boycotts.
During the rally, protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans expressing solidarity with Gaza and Jerusalem.
Hamas had previously called for ongoing global mobilization every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to pressure the Israeli government to halt its aggression, adhere to the ceasefire, open border crossings, allow relief efforts, and begin reconstruction.
In Stockholm, hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators protested Israel’s violations of the Gaza ceasefire. Media reports said the rally took place in Odenplan Square at the invitation of civil society organizations. Protesters voiced anger over Israeli attacks that violated the ceasefire, which took effect on October 11, 2025, and condemned restrictions preventing humanitarian aid from reaching those in need in Gaza.
Later, demonstrators marched to the Swedish parliament building carrying signs calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza.
In Paris, hundreds participated in a demonstration expressing solidarity with the peoples of Palestine, Sudan, and Venezuela against discrimination and repression. The protest responded to calls from associations and organizations, with participants carrying Palestinian and Venezuelan flags and holding signs that read “Boycott Israel.”
