DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation army has committed 7,160 massacres against Palestinian families since the start of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the health ministry revealed on Wednesday.
The ministry clarified that 1,410 families have been completely erased from the Palestinian civil registry, resulting in 5,444 martyrs. Additionally, 3,463 families lost only one member each, totaling 7,934 martyrs from these families.
The health ministry noted that 2,287 families were subjected to direct bombardments, with more than one survivor remaining from each, and the total number of martyrs in those families reached 9,577.
Death toll rises to 44,282
At least 167 civilians were killed and injured in three massacres that Israeli forces carried out in various parts of the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. Many victims are still lying on the ground or buried beneath debris. At least 33 killed and 134 injured people were taken to medical facilities.
The health ministry in Gaza said that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks climbed to 44,282 deaths and the number of the wounded surged to 104,880 people.
Since the October 7, 2023, cross-border operation by al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to ruthless bombardment.
Aside from the large number of casualties and displacements, basic food, fuel, water, and medical supplies have run out for Gaza’s 2.3 million residents as a result of Israel’s tight blockade and massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
The second year of the deadly Israeli war has seen an increase in international recognition of the genocide in Gaza, as organizations and leaders have described the events as a purposeful attempt to wipe out a population.
Last week, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
