DaysofPal- The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed on Monday that no patients have so far been allowed to travel through the Rafah land crossing.
In a brief statement, the ministry said it has not been informed of any new details regarding the travel of patients via Rafah, stressing that not a single patient has departed through the crossing to date.
The ministry added that patient travel through the Kerem Shalom crossing will continue under the previous mechanism, without any changes announced so far.
Meanwhile, the Israeli public broadcaster reported that 150 Palestinians are expected to leave Gaza daily, while 50 will be allowed to enter.
According to the report, Egypt will submit 50 names per day for Israeli approval, with those individuals permitted to enter Gaza the following day.
The broadcaster further stated that the European force will send a daily list of those departing Gaza to Egypt, specifying their final destinations.
The Rafah crossing, Gaza’s primary gateway to the outside world, has remained largely closed following its destruction by Israeli forces during the genocidal war on the Strip, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis, particularly for thousands of patients awaiting urgent medical treatment abroad.
