DaysofPal- New Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip killed 8 more Palestinians Wednesday, including women and children, witnesses and medical sources said.
Three people were killed and numerous others were injured, most of them children, when an airstrike struck a refugee tent in central Gaza, west of Deir al-Balah, according to the source.
Another strike targeted a house east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing four more people, including two women and a child, the source said.
Israeli artillery shelling of their home in Rafah, southern Gaza, also injured a number of people.
Witnesses also reported that a child was killed by Israeli artillery shelling in the city of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
In one of the deadliest attacks in weeks, Israel killed at least 93 Palestinians and injured more yesterday. The strike hit a five-story building in Beit Lahiya, where displaced Palestinian families were seeking refuge. At least 25 of those killed were children.
Northern Gaza’s Municipality of Beit Lahiya has designated the town as a “disaster” area in the wake of weeks of ceaseless Israeli military siege and bombardment.
Nearly the whole population of the territory has been forced to flee due to the Israeli assault, and the continuous blockade has resulted in acute shortages of food, clean water, and medication.
