Former Israeli Chief of Staff and Minister of War Moshe Boji Ya’alon described Itamar Ben Gvir as the “Minister of National Chaos”, and that he will explode the situation in the region.

“Itamar Ben Gvir is not a minister of national security, but rather a minister of chaos,” Ya’alon said.

He added, “The nationalists, Smotrich and Ben Gvir, both do not think about security, and their steps will lead to an explosion of situations.”

Since taking over the Ministry of National Security in the far-right Israeli occupation government, Ben Gvir announced a series of racist measures against the Palestinians.

Days ago, Ben Gvir decided to submit a bill to execute Palestinian detainees, who are accused of carrying out operations that led to the killing of Israeli settlers and soldiers, with the “electric chair”.

On January 4, he threatened the Palestinian detainees with conditions of detention worse than the current conditions, claiming that they currently enjoy “comfortable and excellent conditions similar to those of summer camps.”

On January 28, Ben Gvir said that he wants to pass the death penalty law against the Palestinians and to license more weapons to Israeli settlers.
