The Representative of the European Union, Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorff today called on the Israeli occupation authorities to release the mentally ill Palestinian prisoner Ahmad Manasra.
This came during a visit by the Representative to the Manasra home in Beit Hanina neighborhood, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Burgsdorff discussed with Manasra’s parents and uncle the issue of their son and his serious health and mental condition as a result of solitary confinement in the prison.
Ahmad Manasra was 13 years of age when he was shot in 2015 and assaulted by Israelis along with his cousin, who was killed on that day.
“I’m all alone, daddy!”
