Avi Maoz, head of the Israeli extremist “Noam” party, submitted Monday evening, February 27, his resignation from his post as deputy minister in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
According to the Hebrew Channel 12, Maoz submitted his resignation because he was not granted the powers he demanded when signing Netanyahu’s fascist government coalition.
It indicated that Maoz said in his letter to Netanyahu that he will not support the current government coalition in its decisions in the Knesset.
Maoz is the sole representative of the homophobic Noam party in the Knesset, having run alongside far-right Religious Zionism and Otzma Yehudit in the November election.
