The Government Media Office in Gaza has strongly condemned the latest Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, describing it as part of a deliberate and ongoing assault on the territory’s already fragile health system.
According to the office, Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians within the hospital grounds. The bombing caused injuries and material damage, and once again placed the lives of patients and medical staff in immediate danger.
This marks the 12th time Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital has been attacked since Israel began its war on Gaza in 2023.
In a statement, the media office declared:
“We hold the Israeli occupation, the U.S. administration, and all complicit countries fully responsible for these systematic crimes. This is part of a clear and dangerous policy aimed at dismantling Gaza’s health infrastructure.”
Hospitals, which should be sanctuaries in times of war, continue to come under fire, deepening the humanitarian crisis and leaving civilians with fewer and fewer places to turn for safety or care.
