DaysofPal- TheAl-Qassam Brigades said that Israeli captives are being held inside neighborhoods of Gaza and stressed that their fate is linked directly to Israel’s decisions.
The group warned that Israel will not recover any captive, alive or dead, if it continues or expands its military campaign.
In a press statement, the Brigades asserted that Gaza will not be an easy target for the Israeli army, emphasizing full readiness to confront the Israeli forces.
They pointed to the presence of resistance fighters, thousands of ambushes, and explosive devices, warning that any advance by Israeli troops would be met with casualties and further captures.
Al-Qassam said the coming phase of confronting the Israeli genocide will be a “war of attrition” for the Israeli occupation, noting that its fighters have been trained to plant explosives in military vehicles and target Israeli bulldozers, which are primary objectives.
Meanwhile, the Israeli assault on Gaza entered its 712th consecutive day, marked by intensified airstrikes and artillery shelling across the enclave.
The Israeli attacks have resulted in more civilian victims, many of them women and children, amid worsening humanitarian and health conditions.
The Israeli occupation has also cut off communications and internet services in Gaza City, effectively isolating over 800,000 residents from the outside world as bombardment and forced displacement continue.
According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israeli forces have fully severed Gaza’s communications more than 12 times over the past 23 months in a systematic effort to obscure the situation on the ground and hinder humanitarian response efforts.
The blackout has severely hampered coordination between hospitals and emergency teams, obstructed journalists from documenting ongoing destruction, and left families in Gaza unable to contact loved ones inside or outside the strip.
