Abu Obaida, spokesperson for Hamas’ military wing Al-Qassam, lauded in a statement issued on Sunday Hezbollah’s initial retaliatory strike following the assassination of Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr.
Abu Obaida conveyed profound admiration for the sacrifices made by the Lebanese populace and its courageous resistance fighters will in the face of Israeli brutality that killed Shukr and Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh.
Abu Obaida asserted that Hezbollah’s operation underscores a fundamental shift in the strategic balance against the Israeli Zionist entity since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
“The [Israeli] enemy has no refuge from retribution, and there are no boundaries to our capacity to strike, irrespective of location or front,” he declared.
He further emphasized that all fronts will remain active and increasingly confrontational as long as Israeli aggression against Palestinians and their allies persists.
Abu Obaida stressed that the resistance will continue unabated, with the enemy facing persistent and intensifying actions from every direction.
