Israeli Army Radio reported quoting far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir as he storming Al-Aqsa early this morning that he will build a synagogue at the holy site.
Ben Gvir along with dozens of Israeli settlers have stormed Islam’s third-holiest site under the protection of Israeli police officers, Al-Qastal news reported.
Ben Gvir is a serious statement and a blatant violation of Islamic sanctities, which was declared during his provocative raid to Al-Aqsa Mosque along with former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin who appeared bragging about his performance of public Talmudic rituals at Al-Aqsa.
While a Jewish law allows the settler to storm the compound in a regular occurrence, Israeli authorities have also repeatedly barred Palestinians from entering the site for Friday prayers since October 7, forcing many to pray on the streets near the Old City.
Israeli forces have also attacked Palestinian worshippers inside the mosque.
