One hundred twenty research centers for “Gender” studies in American universities recognized that Israel is a country that practices apartheid against the Palestinians.
A statement by the Centers for Gender Studies at 120 American universities called on feminist activists to “join the struggle for Palestine’s freedom.

The statement, which was issued as part of a campaign that continues to collect signatures in American universities, said, “We unequivocally respond to the call of solidarity with the people of Palestine, and announce our joining the struggle for Palestinian liberation.”
The statement condemned the forced displacement of Palestinians from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah, the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the indiscriminate shelling of Gaza.
It also condemned the violence of Israeli settlers backed by the police and the Israeli army, who are controlling the streets, storming homes, and brutalizing Palestinians, especially as the settlers’ violence is often accompanied by right-wing ethnic nationalist chanting the hateful “Death to the Arabs”.
