Deputy in the Legislative Council, Fathi Al-Qarawi, affirmed that the occupation’s crime of killing the child Ali Abu Alya from al-Mughayir town in Ramallah indicates the Israeli government's contempt for everything that is Palestinian.
Al-Qarawi said that the killing of the child Abu Alya by the occupation confirms again that this occupation does not respect any Palestinian, or even an international community.
Meanwhile, he blamed the international community for remaining silent toward the crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation that continuously go unpunished.
"In the face of this crime and other crimes, the international community is required to achieve justice to the Palestinian people and declare its rejection of the occupation practices," he added.
Palestinian Health Ministry said the 13-year-old Ali Ayman Nasr Abu Aliya "succumbed to his wounds after he was shot with live rounds in the stomach" during protests north of Ramallah.
The youth was targeted in the village of Mughayir and was transported in critical condition to a hospital in Ramallah, where he died, it said.
The Israeli army "violently dispersed" the protest against the establishment of an Israeli settlement in the area, according to Mughayir's mayor, Amin Abu Aliya.
