DaysofPal- Hamas Movement warned that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate, describing current conditions as a deepening catastrophe amid ongoing Israeli genocide and siege.
The Movement said that Gaza’s population has been suffering severe hardship marked by widespread hunger, increasing poverty, and the collapse of essential services.
It highlighted the Israeli destruction of water and sanitation infrastructure, worsening environmental and living conditions, disruption of education, and growing suffering among children, women, and the elderly.
The statement accused Israel of continuing what it described as systematic policies of deprivation, starvation, and destruction as part of its ongoing military campaign.
Hamas added that these conditions represent a continuation of large-scale violations of international norms and a failure to uphold ceasefire commitments.
Hamas also placed responsibility on both Israeli occupation and the United States, citing Washington’s support for Israeli policies as a contributing factor to the worsening humanitarian crisis.
The Movement condemned any actions that obstruct relief efforts or destabilize internal social conditions, stating that such efforts ultimately serve the interests of the ongoing conflict.
According to Hamas, addressing the crisis requires more than political statements. The Movement called for concrete measures, including an end to military operations, lifting of the blockade, and enabling humanitarian aid to enter without restrictions.
It stressed that such steps are essential to allow Gaza’s population to live with dignity and to bring an end to what it described as an ongoing humanitarian disaster.
The situation in Gaza continues to draw international concern, with aid organizations warning of severe shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies, as well as long-term impacts on civilian infrastructure and public health.
