DaysofPal- Hamas Movement accused Israeli occupation forces of escalating the field executions against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank amid rising tensions across the territory.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Movement said that repeated incidents of alleged field executions by Israeli forces are being added to the growing record of “serious and escalating crimes” against the Palestinian people.
Hamas specifically condemned the killing of Palestinian worker Zakaria Ali Qatousa, who was shot dead Tuesday evening near the separation barrier in the town of al-Ram, north of Jerusalem. The Movement described the incident as a field execution carried out by Israeli soldiers.
The Movement mourned Qatousa, stating that he was killed in a deliberate act, while no immediate comment was issued by the Israeli occupation regarding the incident.
Hamas said such actions would not weaken Palestinian resolve but would instead strengthen adherence to national rights. It also warned of the increasing settlement expansion and policies targeting Palestinian land, holy sites, and communities.
The Movement called on Palestinians, particularly in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, to escalate mobilization efforts and confront Israeli forces and settlers.
The West Bank has witnessed heightened tensions and crimes by Israeli forces and settlers in recent months, with frequent clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces raising concerns over further deterioration of the security situation.
