DaysofPal- Israeli settlers set fire to two Palestinian vehicles and stole livestock during an early morning raid on a Palestinian village in Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The settlers’ attack took place in the village of Shiukh al-Arroub, where a group of settlers reportedly stormed the al-Rahwa area, torching two vehicles and stealing around 25 sheep belonging to local residents.
The victims were identified as Ikrema Ibrahim Kawazba and Suhaib Jawabra. The attackers also spray-painted racist slogans before residents confronted them, forcing them to withdraw.
In a separate incident in the al-Minya area near Sa’ir, settlers attacked Palestinian homes, wrote racist graffiti in Hebrew, and attempted to burn additional vehicles.
These attacks are part of a broader pattern of escalating attacks by settler groups across the Hebron governorate.
Recent days have seen repeated assaults involving the burning of property, direct targeting of shepherds, road closures, and raids on multiple Palestinian villages, often reported to occur under the protection of Israeli forces.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers have carried out 443 attacks since the outbreak of the 2026 Israel–US war on Iran on February 28.
The commission said the ongoing instability has been exploited to intensify attacks on Palestinian communities and rural areas.
Local residents have expressed growing concern over the increasing frequency and severity of such incidents, warning of further escalation amid the current volatile conditions.
