DaysofPal-Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for the 118th straight day, carrying out airstrikes, artillery attacks, and extensive demolition campaigns against residential neighborhoods.
According to local sources, IOF carried out controlled explosions that destroyed homes in northeastern Gaza City, as well as buildings and facilities in the northern parts of the enclave. Powerful blasts from these demolitions were heard throughout the area.
Further demolition activity was reported in southeastern Khan Younis, alongside heavy Israeli military movements on the ground.
In southern Gaza, Israeli helicopter gunships unleashed intense fire on Rafah, accompanied by shelling and gunfire from armored vehicles deployed in and around the city.
Israeli tanks also shelled eastern and southern districts of Khan Younis with heavy fire.
During the night, Israeli warplanes struck the residence of the Abu Hattab family in the Khan Younis refugee camp, local reports said.
Since the ceasefire came into force, repeated Israeli violations have resulted in the deaths of 599 Palestinians, including 192 children and 82 women, while 1,526 others have sustained injuries.
Since the launch of the war on October 7, 2023, more than 71,803 Palestinians have been killed and over 171,570 wounded.
Nearly 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, with the United Nations estimating reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
