DaysofPal – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the continued crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip, most recently the targeting of a civilian vehicle by Israeli aircraft on Saturday afternoon west of Gaza City, constitute a further and deliberate criminal violation of the ceasefire agreement signed under the plan of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Five Palestinians were killed on Saturday afternoon when an Israeli strike hit a civilian car near the Nabulsi junction, southwest of Gaza City. The attack marked a new breach of the ceasefire agreement in place between Israel and Hamas since 10 October 2025.
Medical sources reported that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of the victims from the targeted vehicle and transferred them to a hospital in the city, noting that the strike destroyed the car.
While official Israeli sources claimed that the strike assassinated Raed Saad, a senior commander in the Qassam Brigades, local sources confirmed that an Israeli drone directly targeted the vehicle as it was passing through the area. No immediate information was available regarding the identities of those killed or whether there were additional casualties.
In a press statement, Hamas said the crime once again confirms that the occupation is deliberately seeking to undermine and sabotage the ceasefire agreement by escalating its ongoing violations.
The movement held the Israeli government fully responsible for the consequences of its crimes against the Palestinian people and its systematic breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
Hamas said these violations include the targeting of Palestinians, activists, and leaders, as well as the continued imposition of the siege and the obstruction of humanitarian relief efforts.
Hamas called on the mediators and the countries guaranteeing the agreement to assume their responsibilities toward these “blatant violations.”
It urged urgent action to restrain the Israeli government, which it accused of renouncing its obligations under the ceasefire agreement and working to undermine and destroy it.
