DaysofPal- Israeli forces carried out large-scale overnight raids across the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, targeting citizens and former detainees in a sweeping campaign that saw the heaviest activity concentrated in Nablus.
The operations took place amid rainfall and cold weather, according to local sources, who reported that dozens of Palestinians were detained, with many later released after field interrogations.
In Nablus, where military presence has intensified in recent weeks, Israeli forces stormed multiple neighborhoods and conducted extensive home searches, arresting more than 30 Palestinians, including a former government minister and former prisoner Hassan al-Safadi, whose home in Ras al-Ain was raided.
In Jenin, raids targeted several towns, including Arraba, where former prisoner Mohammad al-Arda was detained. In Hebron, Israeli forces arrested several residents, notably members of the Qawqas family, while in Beit Ummar, homes were raided and residents reported the theft of gold jewelry.
Israeli forces also carried out arrests in Bethlehem, detaining former prisoner Khalil Imad al-Amour in Tuquʿ, and in Ramallah, where raids took place in Silwad.
Operations extended to Jericho, Qalqilya, and Tulkarm, with at least 13 Palestinians arrested in Jericho and Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, and some homes converted into military outposts.
In occupied Jerusalem, around 20 residents of Abu Dis were detained and subjected to field interrogations, with some later released.
The overnight operations represent another escalation in the West Bank, where daily raids, arrests, and confrontations continue to affect communities across the region, heightening tensions and further straining civilians amid ongoing occupation pressures.
