DaysofPal- Israeli Occupation forces (IOF) committed a new massacre late Sunday on Al-Wahda Street in Gaza City, killing at least eight Palestinians, including women and children.
The Israeli strike hit a group of civilians near the Thai Junction in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, one of Gaza’s most densely populated areas.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene, combing through debris in search of survivors as ambulances transported the wounded to nearby hospitals already overwhelmed by weeks of relentless bombardment.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos and horror, with families desperately trying to locate missing loved ones amid the rubble.
The Israeli attack came just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump publicly called for an end to Israeli military operations to pave the way for renewed ceasefire talks and a potential prisoner exchange.
Despite his appeal, Israeli air and ground assaults continued across the enclave, striking crowded civilian areas.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health released its daily statistical report on the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
According to the statement, hospitals in the Strip received 65 martyrs, including two bodies recovered from under the rubble, and 153 wounded in the past 24 hours alone.
The ministry confirmed that the total death toll from the Israeli offensive has risen to 67,139 Palestinians killed and 169,583 injured since October 7, 2023.
Since March 18, 2025, the ministry documented 13,549 martyrs and 57,542 injuries as a result of intensified bombardments.
The report also noted a sharp rise in the number of “martyrs of the hunger seeking food”, civilians killed while struggling to secure food, water, and daily necessities amid the blockade and famine.
The total number of these victims who have reached hospitals has now climbed to 2,605 martyrs and more than 19,124 injured.
Humanitarian organizations condemned the latest assault, warning that repeated Israeli strikes on residential neighborhoods such as Al-Wahda Street are turning Gaza’s urban areas into mass graves.
Analysts say the continued Israeli bombardment, despite international appeals, underscores Israeli disregard for civilian life and international law as Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe deepens by the hour.
