DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a new massacre on Sunday morning in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least 10 Palestinians, including 7 children, and injuring 16 others.
The Israeli attack targeted a water distribution point in the “New Camp” area northwest of Al-Nuseirat when children were gathering to get water.
According to Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat, the bodies of the martyrs and dozens of injured civilians, most of them children, were brought in after the airstrike hit a location where civilians had gathered to fill water, amid a dire humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.
Local sources reported that an Israeli drone fired a missile directly at the crowd, resulting in a large number of casualties in mere moments.
In a separate attack, Israeli warplanes bombed a busy open-air market at Al-Samer junction in Al-Daraj neighborhood, central Gaza City, killing at least 12 civilians and injuring around 30 others with varying degrees of wounds.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 139 Palestinians, including five bodies retrieved from under the rubble, and 425 injuries were recorded in hospitals across the Strip over the past 24 hours, amid an ongoing and intense Israeli offensive.
The ministry confirmed that emergency and civil defense teams are facing severe challenges in reaching victims due to the relentless bombing and the collapse of infrastructure.
The Israeli massacres raise the overall death toll from the Israeli genocide in Gaza, ongoing since October 7, 2023, to 58,026 martyrs and 138,520 injuries. Since March 18, 2025, the toll stands at 7,450 martyrs and 26,479 injuries.
The deadly attacks come amid a sharp escalation in Israeli crimes and the absence of any prospect for a ceasefire, with international organizations warning of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
