DaysofPal— Israeli occupation forces have carried out 59 massacres in just 100 hours across the Gaza Strip, killing 288 Palestinians and injuring more than 1,000, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
In a statement issued Monday, the office confirmed that among the victims were 99 Palestinians killed near so-called “U.S.-Israeli aid distribution centers” — sites locals now refer to as “death traps.” An additional 394 people were injured while attempting to access food near these centers.
The media office said tens of thousands of starving civilians were deliberately targeted by the Israeli military, which continues to enforce a starvation campaign against Gaza’s 2.4 million residents.
According to the statement, the massacres were committed through direct bombardment of overcrowded shelters, public gathering places, homes, markets, and even medical clinics.
The occupation forces also bombed civilians seeking food and hit the Al-Mawasi area — which Israel itself has designated as a “safe zone.”
Most of the victims, the office reported, were women, children, and elderly civilians — underscoring what it described as a deliberate effort to target Gaza’s most vulnerable.
“These brutal crimes reflect Israel’s clear intent to cause mass death and destruction,” the statement read, holding the occupation fully responsible for what it described as ongoing atrocities and crimes against humanity.
The media office called on the international community, including human rights organizations and humanitarian institutions, to act urgently to halt the genocide in Gaza and protect civilians from systematic, daily killings.
This comes as Israel’s war on Gaza enters its 641st consecutive day, amid mounting evidence of war crimes and continuing with full American and European support — and near-total Arab silence.
