Jordanian foreign minister Ayman Safadi has said that the Palestinian cause is in danger because of Israel’s persistence in its illegal unilateral actions that undermines the two-state solution and all chances to achieve peace.
“The Arab position on the Palestinian cause focuses on the full rights of the Palestinian people, especially their right to enjoy freedom and have an independent state with Occupied Jerusalem as its capital within the borders of June 4, 1967,” Safadi stated.
“The Arab position does not accept any change or replacement, and it is for the sake of peace,” he added.
The minister made his remarks during his meeting on Sunday with Arab League secretary-general Ahmed Aboul Gheit in Amman.
