Eight Palestinian civilians, including a young girl, were killed, and several others injured following an Israeli airstrike on a residential home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that three of the victims and several injured individuals were rushed to its emergency center. Local sources reported the recovery of five additional bodies from the rubble of the targeted home.
The home, belonging to the Al-Waseefi family, was struck in a crowded residential area of Nuseirat. Local eyewitnesses reported that intense gunfire from Israeli drones and ground vehicles, accompanied by artillery shelling and smoke bombs, continued to pound the northern parts of the camp following the airstrike.
Medical officials disclosed that 28 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air raids on residential homes across Gaza since the early hours of Tuesday. These attacks have targeted multiple locations, leaving widespread destruction in their wake.
In less than 12 hours, Israeli forces carried out three separate massacres, targeting Palestinian families in Nuseirat’s new camp, central Nuseirat, and the Al-17 area in northern Gaza. These attacks resulted in the deaths of 17 civilians, including children and women, with several others critically wounded.
For the 354th consecutive day, Israel has continued its military offensive on Gaza, intensifying the destruction of residential neighborhoods and densely populated areas across the besieged enclave.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that in the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have committed three massacres against Palestinian families, resulting in 55 casualties, including both fatalities and injuries.
