Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades asserted, after more than nine months of Israel’s Genocid, that the defensive capabilities of the Palestinian resistance have been significantly bolstered to confront the Israeli occupation forces across Palestine.
In a recent address late Sunday July 7th, Abu Obaida uncovered the recruitment of thousands of new fighters who have entered the Hamas military wing during the current Genocide.
Abu Obaida detailed how the resistance had repurposed a substantial number of remnants from the Israeli army, such as bombs and missiles used against civilians, for their own strategic purposes. He hinted at forthcoming revelations of documents showcasing strategic deceptions against the Shin Bet and other Israeli security systems.
“All our 24 brigades, in coordination with other factions of the resistance, have engaged and effectively countered the enemy throughout the fighting zones,” Abu Obaida stated, emphasizing the operational readiness of Al-Qassam Brigades in light of the recruitment of new fighters in all areas of the Gaza enclave.
Abu Obaida pointedly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his failed policy in the war, attributing his actions to a desperate attempt to evade failure, which Abu Obaida suggested would haunt him indefinitely.
“The enemy receives harsh blows wherever it breaks into new areas of the Gaza enclave”
The spokesperson affirmed that the Palestinian resistance had successfully restored crucial capabilities, set traps and ambushes, and manufactured explosives and munitions against the Israeli army. He highlighted escalating resistance operations in the West Bank as a direct response to the Israeli Genocide.
The ongoing battles in Rafah and other areas are a strong proof of the resistance’s resilience and the failure of Israeli military strategies that claimed significant casualties among Israeli soldiers and destruction of their tanks and military vehicles; this is providing clear testament to the growing strength and resolve of the resistance, Abu Obaida underscored.
“With support from Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, the Gaza resistance stands united in solidarity for Jerusalem,” Abu Obaida declared. He portrayed the escalation of resistance in the West Bank as a grassroots response to the systematic efforts to eradicate Palestinians.
In addressing the families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza, Abu Obaida criticized Netanyahu for using their fate to serve his personal political interests. He dismissed Netanyahu’s claims of absolute victory as self-serving and pandering to his political allies.
