Israeli forces launched a new massacre against Palestinian civilians and displaced persons in central Gaza on early Wednesday morning, June 5. The assault targeted a populated house in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, leading to multiple casualties.
Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the Darwish family near the girls’ preparatory school in Al-Maghazi camp, initially resulting in several injuries and three fatalities.
Local residents reported that Palestinian medical and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of three martyrs and dozens of injured from the rubble of the Darwish family home, which was targeted by Israeli airstrikes in eastern Al-Maghazi camp.
In a related incident, several injuries were reported following airstrikes near the Al-Masdar mosque east of Al-Maghazi camp.
In addition, hospitals are struggling to cope with a surge of casualties in Deir el-Balah, as at least 66 people are killed in the past 24 hours by Israeli strikes on central Gaza.
The Israeli warplanes continued its heavy bombardment across central Gaza and the eastern parts of the central province, creating a fire belt around the Al-Bureij camp.
The echoes of the strikes were heard in southern Gaza. Additionally, intense Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Nuseirat and Al-Maghazi camps.
Medical teams responded to several injuries this morning after an Israeli strike on the “Aslan Building” in Al-Maghazi camp.
On the 240th day of the aggression, the Gaza government media office reported to Days of Palestine that Israeli forces have committed 3,247 massacres against Palestinian families, resulting in over 46,000 deaths and missing persons.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal campaign in Gaza for the 243rd consecutive day, with intense aerial, ground, and naval bombardments targeting residential homes, civilian infrastructure, and vital facilities.
