Thousands of Israeli settlers participated Saturday, March 4, in wide-scale demonstrations against judicial reforms by Netanyahu’s far-right government in 95 areas in occupied Palestinian cities, according to Israeli media.

“Tens of thousands are demonstrating in 95 locations in all cities against the Netanyahu government, especially in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Kfar Saba, Beersheba, Netanya, Herzliya, and Beit Shemesh,” said the Israeli Walla website.

According to Israeli Channel 12, over 200,000 Israeli settlers participated in the demonstrations.

Israeli Army Radio reported that extremist Itamar Ben Gvir is on his way to assess the situation in Tel Aviv while Israeli demonstrations have been going on for weeks.

For over two months, tens of thousands of Israeli settlers have taken to the streets every Saturday night to protest against the reform.

In short, the proposed judiciary overhaul will severely limit the Israeli Supreme Court’s ability to review and strike down laws that it deems unconstitutional. The Israeli Knesset voted last week to advance a major part of the reforms.
