DaysofPal- A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces early Thursday morning during a raid in the village of Sarta, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the victim, identified as 32-year-old Mustafa Taha Mustafa Al-Khatib, was killed after Israeli forces stormed his home and opened fire directly at him.
The residents said that the incident is an execution carried out inside the victim’s residence during the military incursion.
The killing adds to a growing number of fatalities in the West Bank. Since the beginning of 2026, at least 71 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers, according to local reports.
The West Bank has also been witnessing an escalating campaign of displacement, home demolitions, and attacks by Israeli settlers, often reported to occur under the protection of Israeli forces.
Tensions across the occupied territory have continued to rise amid ongoing Israeli military operations and frequent raids in Palestinian communities.
