DaysofPal- The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,041.
According to the ministry’s latest statistical report, two additional victims and 14 injured people were recorded in hospitals across the enclave over the past 24 hours as a result of continued Israeli attacks.
The ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.
It added that since the ceasefire declared on October 11, a total of 1,029 people have been killed and 3,294 injured, alongside 785 bodies recovered from affected areas.
The cumulative toll of the Israeli offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now reached 73,041 killed and 173,402 injured, according to the ministry.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains critical amid ongoing hostilities and limited access for emergency and rescue teams.
