Israeli occupation forces demolished on Wednesday, January 25, eight Palestinian-owned structures in the occupied West Bank cities of Jericho and Hebron.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces and bulldozers have demolished several Palestinian residential structures in Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank.
The sources added that large numbers of Israeli occupation forces invaded the Al-Dyouk village and started demolishing 6 Palestinian homes.
Israeli settlers and forces, aiming at seizing the whole area, systematically carried out attacks and demolitions against the Palestinian lands in the Al-Dyouk area.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces destroyed two homes in Masafer Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Fuad Al-Amour, a Palestinian activist who monitors the settlement activities in Masafer Yatta, stated that Israeli forces demolished two Palestinian homes east of Yatta.
In addition, he explained that the two 80-square-meter homes are owned by the Palestinians Issa and Ahmed Jabarin.
Israeli forces demolished about 952 Palestinian facilities in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in 2022, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
According to OCHA, the Israeli 2022 demolitions displaced about 1,031 Palestinians. It also affected about 28,000 others in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
