Israeli occupation forces stole on Saturday night NIS 2,000 ($5,243) from Palestinian house in west Bank city of Al-Khalil.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Shuyoukh Neighbourhood in Al-Khalil and broke into Al-Shalaldeh house.
Fares al-Shalaldeh, whom the Israeli occupation forces stormed his family house, said that the house was thoroughly searched and turned upside down.
“Nothing remained on its place,” he told Safa news agency, adding that the Israeli occupation forces damaged the kitchen appliances and several furniture pieces.
He said that the Israeli occupation forces found and collected a total of NIS2,000 in several places cupboards in the house.
“They stole the all the money, claiming that it obtained from illegal sources,” he said. “Then, they obliged us to sign a notice including details about the money.”
Before the Israeli occupation left the house, he said, they told them the money which was stolen turned to the ownership of the Israeli occupation authorities.
Fares said that part of the money is owned by the family and part of it is owned by a company one of his brothers is working for.
