Israeli occupation forces IOF on Wednesday raided the Silwan town, near Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and demolished a Palestinian-owned house, attacking Palestinians surrounding it.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces attack Abu Snainah family members in Silwan town while preparing to demolish their house. Moreover, Israeli forces detained two members of the family after assaulting them.
Hazem Abu Snaineh said that he was shocked that the occupation forces raided the neighborhood, attacked his two sons, and arrested them while they were trying to save the house, noting that the house houses 8 family members.
In a related incident, Israeli apartheid forces bulldozed Palestinian-owned land and demolish a wall in Sur Bahir town, occupied Jerusalem. Locals reported that the land is used as a parking lot.
Palestinian sources revealed that the Israeli occupation forces carried out 7 demolitions of Palestinian properties and houses during July 2022 in occupied Jerusalem.
