Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation soldiers shoot and injured on Monday Palestinian man at military checkpoint in Nablus, occupied West Bank, after asking to use a toilet.
The Israeli soldiers, stationed at the illegal Israeli military checkpoint of Za’tara, stopped the man for inspection and asked him to take off his car.
Immediately, the man took off the car, witnesses said, and asked the soldiers he would use the toilet.
According to witnesses, an Israeli soldier allowed him to use the toilet, but when the Palestinian man turned his back to the soldier, the Israeli soldier shot him in the thigh causing him moderate injuries.
“The man fell down and the other soldiers laughed loudly at him,” Sohail Qawasmeh, a Palestinian passer-by, who could not identify the wounded man, told Days of Palestine.
On Friday, the Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip in a day of deadly violence.
In the early morning of the same day, a group of extremist Israeli settlers set a Palestinian house into fire, killed an 18-month old infant and causing severe burns to his parents and 4-year old brother.
