Days of Palestine, West Bank –Two Israeli settlers ran over on Sunday three Palestinian workers in separate incidents in occupied West Bank.
In the first incident, an Israeli settler driving his car ran over a Palestinian worker near the Palestinian village of Al-Laban in the west of the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Witnesses told Days of Palestine that the Palestinian worker was waiting for the bus and the settlers approached him with his car, hit him and then fled away.
The worker, who was identified as Musa Barhoum, 17, was evacuated to Palestinian Medical Centre for treatment. Medical sources described his condition as moderate.
Just hours later, another Israeli settler approached two Palestinian workers near the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit Shemesh.
An eyewitness reiterated that the settler “premeditatedly” ran over the workers. “They were passing the crosswalk,” the eyewitness said, “and he hit them before he fled away.”
They workers, who were identified as Eid al-Sarei, 32, from Yatta and Ra’fat Zawahreh, 30, from Za’tareh, were rushed to an Israeli hospital for treatment. No more news available about their conditions.
