DaysofPal- The Al-Baidar Organization for Defense of Bedouin Rights reported that 950 Israeli violations have been documented against Bedouin communities and marginalized villages across the occupied West Bank since the beginning of June.
In a statement released on Thursday, the organization said the month has witnessed a significant escalation in both the scale and nature of attacks.
These violations include assaults on residents, destruction of private property, and targeting of agricultural lands, grazing areas, and livestock.
The group also highlighted attacks on infrastructure and essential services, including cutting electricity lines and damaging power networks, resulting in outages affecting homes and agricultural facilities.
Additionally, deliberate damage to water infrastructure was reported, including the destruction of water pipelines, irrigation systems, and storage tanks.
These actions have deprived residents of water for drinking, household use, and farming, directly impacting farmers and herders.
The report further documented widespread attacks on cultivated lands, including crops, vegetables, and olive trees, as well as physical and verbal assaults against residents and activists.
It also noted the establishment and expansion of several new settlement outposts near Palestinian residential areas.
According to the organization, these violations form part of a sustained pattern of actions targeting the Palestinian presence in Bedouin communities and marginalized villages, with direct consequences for residents’ basic rights.
The organization called on the international community, human rights institutions, and United Nations bodies to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities and take urgent action to ensure the protection of civilians.
It also urged immediate measures to halt ongoing violations against these communities and to hold those responsible accountable under international law.
