Israeli Strike Kills Nine Palestinians, Including Journalists, in Northern Gaza

DaysofPal – In a clear violation of the ceasefire, an Israeli drone strike on Saturday afternoon killed nine Palestinians and injured several others in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The victims were part of a humanitarian team working for the “Al-Khair” charity organization.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the casualties included journalists and photographers who were on a relief mission in a local displacement camp when their vehicle was targeted.

Meanwhile, the wounded, some in critical condition, were transported to the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza for urgent treatment.

The bodies of the deceased were later moved to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, where prayers and funeral processions took place.

Among those killed were Bialal Abu Matar, Hazem Gharib, Mahmoud Al-Sarraj, Bilal Akila, Mohammad Al-Ghafeer, Mahmoud Asleem (Al-Bassous), and his assistant.

This attack is part of Israel’s ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, which has led to the deaths of more than 100 Palestinians in recent weeks.

Continuous Israeli aggression has also obstructed the delivery of humanitarian aid and shelter supplies, worsening the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

According to government data, the Israeli occupation has committed over 900 violations of the ceasefire since it took effect on January 19, further escalating the situation in the besieged enclave.
