Tens of thousands of Palestinian Muslim worshippers performed the Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem despite the Israeli restrictions.
Local sources reported that 45,000 Palestinian Muslim worshippers from occupied Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the 1948-occupied lands performed the Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli restrictions and barriers.
The mass crowds of worshipers praying for Friday prayers come two days after Al-Aqsa mosque was subjected to widespread incursions by Israeli settlers to commemorate the so-called Jewish holidays.
The sources added that worshippers performed Absentee funeral prayer (Salat al-Gha’ib) for Jenin’s victims. Earlier Wednesday, Israeli forces shot dead three Palestinian youths during a military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
