Israeli occupation forces attacked Sunday, July 2, 2023, Palestinian farmers in their agricultural lands near the eastern border of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces reportedly fired live bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at the Palestinian farmers in their land east of Khan Yunis city in the south, forcing them to leave their lands.
Palestinian eyewitnesses reported that the toxic gas fired by Israeli soldiers reached the Palestinian citizens’ houses, suffocating them.
Notably, Palestinian citizens living near the separation fence at Gaza borders are subjected to the Israeli occupation’s continuous attacks, including shooting, razing of agricultural lands, and illegal detentions.
Last June, IOF detained 9 Palestinian citizens in Gaza, including five fishermen. Four other Palestinians were detained near the separation fences east of Gaza.
