Yair Labid Describes Israeli Settlers Who Attacked Huwara as "Jewish Terrorists"

The leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, and the former prime minister of the Israeli occupation state condemned Monday, March 7, the attack of extremist Israeli settlers on the town of Hawara in Nablus.

“Another night of criminal violence by Jewish terrorists in Hawara, Nablus,” Lapid said. “These people do not represent us, they are not part of us.”

“The Smotrich and Ben Gvir militias are the real anarchists. They must be arrested and prosecuted,” he added.

On February 26, hundreds of Israeli colonizers massively attacked the Huwara town, killed a Palestinian, injured 400 others, and the burn dozens of Palestinian-owned vehicles and homes.

Yesterday, the settlers also renewed their attacks on the town, which led to the injury of many citizens and the destruction of some of their property.

This comes in light of official Israeli incitement against the Palestinian town, especially since the extremist Israeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, called a few days ago to sweep out the Hawara town in Nablus.

Yair Lapid was the former prime minister of the occupation, and he is no less extremist than the ministers of the current government, as hundreds of Palestinians were killed, injured, detained, and displaced during his reign.
