On Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, the World Health Organization called for inaugurating a humanitarian corridor, through which necessary medical supplies can be reached out to the besieged population in Gaza.
The WHO urged world countries to pool efforts in this regard amid launching a deadly offensive on Gaza and imposing a siege on the blockaded Palestinians by the Israeli occupation.
The situation knocked alarms after Rafah Crossing crews on the Palestinian side had been informed to evacuate the crossing immediately amid Israel’s intentions to re-target it, according to Interior Ministry Spokesman Iyad Al-Bazm.
The Israeli occupation has cut off the water supply, food, electricity, and other essential supplies as it bombed targets in Gaza’s densely populated areas.
For four consecutive days, Israeli occupation air forces have been targeting residential buildings, towers, houses, towers, schools, and hospitals, raising the death toll to over 760 dead and over 4000 wounded.
