DayofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed 165 children in the occupied West Bank in the past year, a UN report revealed.
The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) stated, On Wednesday, that the IOF killed 36 children in airstrikes and 129 by live ammunition, with the majority of those fatalities occurring in the head or upper body.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the West Bank stated that Abdullah Jamal Hawash, 11, was the latest victim of the Israeli attacks in the West Bank.
The OHCHR office in the occupied Palestinian territory stated that Hawash posed “no realistic threat” to Israeli forces.
His death followed the shooting of a 17-year-old by Israeli forces in Hebron on Sunday, who was left in critical condition after being shot in the head.
Three days prior, another 11-year-old boy was critically injured after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in the Arroub refugee camp in Hebron governorate.
The IOF intensified its operations in the West Bank overnight, launching violent raids on Nablus, el-Bireh, the town of Deir Abu Mishal west of Ramallah, Balata camp east of Nablus, and Fawwar camp south of Hebron.
