Hundreds of students in Al-Nasirah participated Saturday, June 10, 2023, in a vigil, protesting the unending series of violence and murders in the occupied Palestine territories.
During the vigil organized by the school administration, the educational staff, the parents’ committee, and the students raised banners condemning the continuous violence and demanded the need to reject all forms of violence, killing, and intimidation.
Last Thursday, the town of Yafa an-Naseriyye witnessed one of the bloodiest criminal shootings, in which five young men were killed, including a 15-year-old minor.
According to the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz”, the death toll has reached 78 so far in 2023, compared to 34 in the same period of time in 2022, considering the number recorded as the highest in several decades.
