The British Consulate in Jerusalem (UK in Jerusalem) expressed shock over the Israeli settler attack on Turmus Ayya town in occupied Ramallah on Wednesday, June 20, 2023.
“Appalling scenes in the West Bank town of Turmus Ayya, where Palestinians have been attacked and property destroyed by Israeli settlers,” UK in Jerusalem tweeted.
The tweet pointed out that one Palestinian was killed and others were seriously injured during the settlers’ assaults on Ramallah’s town of Turmus Ayya.
The tweet added that this cycle of violence must end, and perpetrators of crimes must be held to account.
For the third day in a row, Israeli settlers carry out attacks against cities and villages in the West Bank, burning dozens of properties and cars, and causing extensive damage.
