The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Israeli settlers’ organized terrorism in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, June 21, 2023.
“The OIC condemned in the strongest terms the systematic terrorism practiced by Israeli occupation forces and settlers against several Palestinian towns, which resulted in the killing of one Palestinian man and injuring dozens,” The organization said in a statement.
In addition, the OIC described the attack, which included burning dozens of homes and properties, as an ongoing war crime that calls for action to hold the perpetrators accountable and achieve justice.
The organization held the Israeli occupation fully and directly responsible for the continuation of these crimes, calling for the provision of International protection for the Palestinian people.
“The impunity and the failure of the international community to fulfill its responsibilities towards the organized terrorism committed by Israel has encouraged it to persist in its ongoing crimes and its illegal colonial occupation of the Palestinian land,” the statement read.
For the third day in a row, Israeli settlers carry out attacks against cities and villages in the West Bank, burning dozens of properties and cars, and causing extensive damage.
Israeli settlers carried out attacks on about 10 Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank, mainly in Nablus and Ramallah.
