DaysofPal— Three Palestinian citizens were killed and several others injured early Friday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a police post in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the enclave continue for the 232nd consecutive day.
The ceasefire, brokered through Arab and U.S. mediation in October 2025 and implemented on October 11, has been repeatedly breached amid escalating military activity across the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the strike hit a police point near the slaughterhouse area in Khan Younis, killing three individuals.
Two of the victims were identified as police officer Hossam Mazen Shurab and Mohammed Osama Al-Dadda, while the identity of the third victim remains unknown.
Earlier on Thursday evening, another person was killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood in the north of Gaza City.
Additional Israeli attacks reportedly destroyed residential blocks in Deir al-Balah and the Beach refugee camp, as the pace of ceasefire violations intensified.
A series of airstrikes also targeted homes and shelters for displaced residents across Gaza on the second day of Eid al-Adha, causing injuries and widespread destruction.
Witnesses reported that Israeli aircraft struck the Namaa displacement camp in the Hamad area of Khan Younis overnight, damaging numerous tents and injuring several civilians.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces bombed a house in Shat’e refugee camp in northwestern Gaza City after warning residents to evacuate, triggering further displacement.
Another strike in Deir al-Balah leveled the home and land belonging to Talal Abu Mansi near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Local sources said an airstrike near the Imam al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood killed Abdullah Ashraf Abdel Wahab, 24, and injured others.
Additional strikes targeted agricultural land and structures in the Mawasi al-Qarara area northwest of Khan Younis, causing significant damage and injuries.
Further air raids hit a residential apartment in the Yarmouk area of central Gaza City, injuring five people and causing extensive destruction.
In central Gaza, strikes near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital destroyed another evacuated home and damaged surrounding properties.
Israeli artillery shelling also continued in the northeastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp, while explosions were reported as Israeli forces demolished residential buildings east of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire began on October 11, at least 922 people have been killed and 2,786 injured, in addition to 781 bodies recovered from various areas across Gaza.
According to cumulative figures since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 72,819, with a total of 172,894 injuries reported.
