Days of Palestine – Gaza
Tens of thousands of Palestinian people took to the street on Friday 22 April 2022 in the besieged Gaza Strip to protest the crimes Israeli Occupation Forces, as well as Israeli settlers, keep committing against Palestinian worshippers in Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank.
The angry marches came in light of the Israeli continued incursions IOF carry out against Muslim worshippers in the yards of the holy mosque of Al-Aqsa aiming at imposing Spatio-temporal division of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A number of representatives of Palestinian forces and factions participated in the marches and participants raised banners and chanted chants expressing the popular rejection of the occupation’s plans and crimes against worshippers in Aqsa Mosque.
Suhail Al-Hindi, a member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, said that the gathering of thousands of the masses of the North Gaza Governorate is sending a revolutionary message to our people in Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque squares that we are at your side, standing with you, supporting you, protecting your decision and defending you.
Al-Hindi greeted the marchers in the squares of the blessed Aqsa Mosque, saying with your steadfastness, patience, and defense, you thwarted the plans of the settlers and the Israeli occupation.
Al-Hindi also called on the masses of our people in the West Bank and Jerusalem and in the 48 to continuously rally in Aqsa Mosque and defend it.
He sent a message to the Arab and Islamic nations that the Aqsa Mosque is in danger and that it was a mosque not only for Palestinians but also for all Arabs and Muslims to defend.
IOF suppresses Palestinian worshippers in the Aqsa mosque, using excessive force against defenseless worshipers including women, children, and the elderly.
Over the past 10 days, hundreds of Palestinians were injured and detained by Israeli occupation forces who seek to get the mosque clear of Palestinian worshippers to allow Israeli settlers to storm the Mosque and perform Talmudic Rituals in the Islamic sacred places in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
