DayofPal—Israeli settler carried out a series of attacks on Palestinian agricultural lands and crops in the occupied West Bank on Monday, causing significant damage in the governorates of Nablus and Ramallah.
In the village of Duma, south of Nablus, settlers reportedly set fire to olive trees on agricultural land after closing the village’s western entrance and preventing residents from accessing the area.
The blaze damaged several olive trees, while local residents attempted to reach the site to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
Meanwhile, settlers also entered the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, under the protection of Israeli forces.
In Ramallah Governorate, settlers continued ongoing attacks on agricultural lands east of the villages of Al-Taybeh and Rummon.
Witnesses reported that herds of camels and sheep were deliberately grazed among olive groves, causing extensive damage to trees and crops.
Residents said such incursions have become a near-daily occurrence, with settlers repeatedly bringing livestock onto Palestinian farmland, resulting in the destruction of agricultural property and financial losses for local farmers.
A video circulating on social media shows a settler breaking olive tree branches and using them to feed livestock, further damaging trees that serve as a primary source of income for many Palestinian families.
The incidents come amid escalation in settler activities around Al-Taybeh and Rummon, including grazing operations, property destruction, and restrictions on farmers’ access to their lands.
Local residents say these attacks are aimed at expanding control over large areas of Palestinian territory.
Earlier in the day, settlers reportedly installed several caravans and agricultural structures on land in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, where trees had previously been uprooted and the area leveled.
Similar incidents were also reported in the northern Jordan Valley, where groups of settlers entered Palestinian-owned land in the Al-Hamma area accompanied by sheep herds.
