Tens of Israeli settlers broke into the archeological site of Sebastia today, Sunday, March 20, in the northwest of the city of nobles. The municipal president Mohamad Azzam said that tens of settlers broke into the town’s historic site under the protection of the armed occupation police forces and while closing the area in the face of its Palestinian residents. Azzam also added that violent confrontations occurred in the midst of continuous teargas bombing which lead to several gaseous asphyxiation cases.
It is worth mentioning that this is not an isolated incident. The settlers’ infringements are numerous in general and in the town of Sebastia in particular, which has been teargassed and violated too many times to count.
