DaysofPal – Settler violence against Palestinians and their property continued across the occupied West Bank overnight and into Sunday morning, with a series of attacks reported in several areas, resulting in injuries, theft, and damage to livelihoods.
In the northern West Bank, a female student from the village of Amouriya, near Nablus, was injured after being struck by a vehicle driven by an Israeli settler while on her way to attend classes at Al-Lubban Girls Secondary School. The incident added to growing concerns over the safety of Palestinian residents and students in areas exposed to frequent settler activity.
Earlier on Sunday, settlers reportedly infiltrated the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, and stole a cart belonging to local residents.
The Nablus area also witnessed several attacks on Saturday evening. A 21-year-old Palestinian was injured after being assaulted by settlers on the road connecting the towns of Beita and Awarta, south of the city. According to local reports, settlers attacked Palestinian motorists along the route, detained several vehicles, and sprayed pepper gas at residents, including children.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian man sustained a knife wound during a settler attack on the outskirts of Qusra, southeast of Nablus.
Further south, settlers released livestock and camels near a Bedouin community east of Al-Taybeh, in the Ramallah district, on Sunday morning. Such actions are often viewed by residents as attempts to intimidate communities and disrupt grazing lands.
The previous evening, groups of settlers had entered the vicinity of the Abu Awwad family home in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, accompanied by their sheep.
In the western Salfit region, Palestinian youths confronted settlers on Saturday evening after they entered the western area of Deir Ballut, where residents reported provocative activities by settler groups.
The incidents are part of a larger wave of violence and violations in East Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank. Palestinian communities have reported increasing attacks by both Israeli occupation forces and settler groups targeting residents, agricultural lands, homes, and vehicles. The escalation has prompted renewed Palestinian calls for greater resistance and collective efforts to confront the growing settler presence and attacks throughout the territory.
