DaysofPal- Violence of Israeli Settlers surged across multiple areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem early Saturday, targeting Bedouin and pastoral communities in a coordinated effort to forcibly displace residents.
The escalation followed a violent attack on the Ma’azi Jaba community north of Jerusalem on Friday evening, which left several Palestinians injured while defending themselves.
Israeli Settlers also set fire to one home, though residents managed to extinguish the blaze before it spread.
Jerusalem Governorate officials described the attacks as part of a systematic policy to pressure Palestinians to abandon their land.
In a significant development, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported the complete evacuation of Ras Ain Al-Ouja in the northern Jordan Valley.
The last 100 residents were forcibly displaced due to repeated attacks and increasing restrictions on pastoral activities, leaving the community entirely empty.
Observers warned that the depopulation of Ras Ain Al-Ouja could mark the beginning of a wider wave of forced displacement, potentially affecting other communities in Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley, consolidating settler control, and reshaping the region’s geographic landscape.
